Bio

I'm interested in Judaism--not your mama's or your papa's, but then, maybe what they missed out on . I want to go skydiving when I can afford to do so.

Politics interests me, but only indirectly for now. What do I think of politicians? Ask me after the 2008 election. Maybe by then I won't be so outraged.

Sexuality--I'm bisexual, and I'm interested in making America a safer place for everyone. If all bisexuals came out, we'd have more than enough people to form a coalition with the gay and lesbian community to change our laws, and vice versa. Enough said.

Pushing boundaries--If we don't, then who will?

Safe homes--Everyone deserves one.

"Hear, oh One who struggles with G-d..." -- That's the most important prayer in Judaism? Who the hell knew?

Musicians -- The Dixie Chicks, Mary J. Blige, Madonna, a few bands whose names I don't know yet, Ishtar (Alabina), Dana International, Ofra Haza, piano music, classical guitar, Iron Butterfly (if I don't list this one, Partev won't kill me ), blues, jazz, Debbie Friedman (who, in my generation, doesn't like her?), Joan Baez (what an awesome freaking voice to combine with folk music), Joni Mitchell, I can probably go on a while....

Orchestration -- Can you teach yourself to do it? Can you? I'd like to see you try.

I might go rock climbing with the right people. I'm not entirely fearless in this area, but I do love the view.

Skiing & snowboarding -- I'd better wait until I can afford new clothes. The last time I tried (and the only time), I fell on my behind between the weight of the boots and the bulk of the snow clothes I had. Not a pretty combination, but damn funny .

Snow, fireplaces, mimosas... ach. Hours could be spent that way, very, very easily.

Lakes are beautiful, haven't been to Hawaii, yet.... Ummm... Israel is a travel must. France would be wonderful to go back to without feeling like such a tourista (I know, that's Spanish.). Montreal, Toronto, etc., would be cool to visit.
